AUC HISTORIA UNIVERSITATIS CAROLINAE PRAGENSIS

Časopis AUC Historia Universitatis Carolinae Pragensis s podtitulem „Příspěvky k dějinám Univerzity Karlovy“ je periodikum věnované nejen historii pražské univerzity, ale i dějinám vzdělanosti a studentského hnutí v českých zemích. Časopis vycházející od roku 1960 v rámci univerzitní řady Acta Universitatis Carolinae přináší také materiálové studie uveřejňující původní historické prameny (všechny stati jsou opatřeny cizojazyčnými, zpravidla německými a anglickými souhrny). Časopis otiskuje pravidelně recenze a anotace prací k dějinám vzdělanosti a kroniku badatelské činnosti.

The Literary Production of Philosophy Professors 16th- and 17th-Century Central Europe: A Brief Overview

Abstract

The submitted study deals with various types of works written by 16th- and 17th-century Central European philosophy professors. Their intensive production is examined with the use of the following nine categories: 1. lectures, 2. disputations, 3. academic exercises, 4. polemical writings, 5. translations, 6. editions of ancient and post-ancient writings, 7. monographs, including commentaries, 8. auxiliary writings, and 9. other kinds of writings. These categories form the basis of further content analysis.
