Orbis scholae is an academic journal published by Charles University, Prague. It features articles on school education in the wider socio-cultural context. abstract
Theoretical studies and research at a European level and in Slovakia show there to be a crisis in the teaching profession. The solution demands reform of the conception of the professional development of teachers and its codification in legislation concerning teachers.
