Abstract
Two non-contemporaneous hillforts in the neighbourhood of Choceň (Pardubice region) yielded so far 11 bronze artefacts obtained by metal detector survey. Compared to trial excavations, these artefacts only provide limited information on what has happened in the hillforts during the Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age. The reason thereof is, among other things, that the localities were plundered by illegal users of metal detectors.
