Praehistorica jsou odborným akademickým časopisem zaměřeným na archeologii ve Střední Evropě. Časopis vychází od roku 1938 a specializuje se zejména na období pravěku a ranné doby dějinné.

[New finds of stone industry from east part of Czech-Moravian Highlands]

Abstract
The Czech-Moravian Highlands have an average altitude of 500 meters above the sea level and do not belong to the ancient residential areas. This is possible by the nearby natural conditions and preference of prehistoric populations for the search for settlements more convenient to landscapes in middle and lower parts of local watercourses and fertile soils. Thus, any presence of archaeological monuments older than Middle Age monuments rightly draws our further attention. Mapping the activities of prehistoric man in the wider context is hencefore even more valuable. Due to the character of environment this site is specialized in the stone industry. This paper brings information about unpublished collection of works on the stone industry where the most significant factors include silicate axe from the Dolní Libochová.
