Abstract
Requests for research into corporate culture are frequent in practice, but the commission is not always clear. Only with difficulty can traditional research into social climate be augmented by research into values, norms or attitudes to change. The article shows that it is possible to exploit several classic schemata of operationalisation of the social climate and also offers a number of new themes and experiences with the measurement of company culture. It looks both at expert evaluation on the side of managers, and at identification of the dimension of company culture using a questionnaire. It clarifies the structure of a newly created battery of questions by means of correlation and factor analysis, and demonstrates the agreement of the results of two actual case studies.
