Abstract
The Reliability of Isokinetic Shoulder Strength Testing in Regard to Gender The aim of the study was to compare the reliability of isokinetic shoulder strength testing in regard to gender. Sixteen athletes (8 males, 8 females) were measured on the Cybex Humac Norm dynamometer. Concentric strength was measured in 60°/s (2 rep.) and 120°/s (8 rep.). The movement consisted of flexion and extension in the left and right shoulder joints. The intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC) ranged from 0.79–0.98 for males and 0.67–0.99 for females. The results confirmed high reliability for the specific shoulder isokinetic strength test. Differences in reliability between males and females were not found. Reliabilita měření izokinetické síly ramene v závislosti na pohlaví Cílem studie bylo posoudit reliabilitu měření izokinetické síly ramene v závislosti na pohlaví jedinců. 16 sportovců (8 mužů, 8 žen) se zúčastnilo měření, které bylo prováděno na dynamometru Cybex Humac Norm. Koncentrická síla byla měřena při konstantní úhlové rychlosti 60°/s (2 opak.) a 120°/s (8 opak.). Pohyb se skládal z flexe a extenze pravého a levého ramene. Vnitrotřídní korelační koeficient (ICC) se pohyboval v rozmezí 0,79–0,98 pro muže a 0,67–0,99 pro ženy. Výsledky potvrdily vysokou reliabilitu měření specifické izokinetické síly ramene. Rozdíly v reliabilitě u žen a mužů nebyly nalezeny.
