Teologická reflexe je recenzovaný časopis pro teologii, který vychází nepřetržitě od roku 1995 (archiv ročníků 1995–2023). Zveřejňuje výsledky původní badatelské činnosti v oblasti biblistiky, systematické, historické, praktické a ekumenické teologie, teologické etiky a církevních dějin, ale také filosofie, religionistiky, sociální práce a dalších vědních disciplín, pokud mají přesah do teologie.
Časopis se zaměřuje na reflexi a interpretaci biblické a křesťanské tradice, zkušenosti křesťanské víry, procesy její komunikace a vírou motivované jednání v přítomných i minulých společenských kontextech. Kromě původních badatelských studií uveřejňuje také odborné přehledové články a recenze.
Vychází dvakrát ročně tiskem i online (open access). Přijímá články v češtině, slovenštině, angličtině nebo němčině.

Abstract
The authority of the Roman emperors in the religious affairs of the Roman Empire stemmed from the adoption of the old republican office of pontifex maximus by the first Roman emperor, Augustus. This role gave the emperors not only formal responsibility for maintaining the traditional cults, but also broad ideological legitimacy as guardians of the spiritual order of the state. Their influence lasted throughout the entire existence of the Roman Empire and continued in the Eastern Roman Empire, where it gradually intertwined with Christian imperial ideology. The emperors regularly intervened in the internal matters of all cults within the empire and, after the triumph of Christianity, also shaped church doctrine by convening and directing major ecumenical councils.
