abstract
Fundamental change in education is one of the most important tasks in the process of transformation to an economically developed and democratically organised society. In this paper we study the real effect of transformation in the educational systems in the Czech Republic and Poland. The core of this transformation follows from actions led by the educational politics of these countries, their intentional - whether, rational or irrational - influence on the developmental process.
