Instrumentality and values in sport

Publikace se zabývá rolí instrumentálnosti ve sportu a jejím vlivem na sportovce. Instrumentálnost je definována vztahem: prostředek-cíl, a je diskutována z hlediska logiky sportu. Jsou analyzovány dva druhy instrumentálnosti (vnitřní a vnější) a hodnoty, jež se k oběma druhům instrumentálnosti vztahují. Kniha se dále zabývá různými problémy vyvstávajícími z instrumentální povahy sportu a jejich vlivem na sportující. Nakonec jsou představeny různé strategie pro zdůraznění hodnot sportu, které vznikají díky vhodnému respektování prostředků a vnitřních cílů ve sportu.
