Mikrohyperbarie – možnost studia buněčného metabolismu v odlišných fyzikálních podmínkách

Hyperbaric and normobaric oxygen therapy is currently routinely used supporting method which founded widely use in treating of many diseases. Despite of the considerable use of this method in medical practice, we are lacking sufficient background material in the literature which allows us full understanding of biological processes taking place in cells under different physical conditions. The aim of our study was primarily to find out whether it is possible to cultivate cells in a specially constructed microhyperbaric chamber and then study the effect of increased pO2 on the growth of the HFL1 pulmonary fibroblast cell line.
