Reviewers from the field give their opinion on the scientific quality of the paper and the suitability of publication in the journal. In the case of comments, the opinion is sent back to the author with the possibility of revising the text (see Guidelines for Authors – Per Review Process for more details).

Section I explores the different definitions of public interest in the Czech law and the judicature of general courts and the Constitutional Court of the Czech Republic. Section II presents the description of the basic principles of determination of the existence of public interest in concrete case. Section III focuses on the essential problem within the process of determining the public interest, the potential conflict in between the public interest and the fundamental rights and freedoms.
