abstract
The paper deals with the possible existence of prehistoric pathways across the South Bohemian part of Šumava Mountains. Traces of human activities, mostly in the form of isolated finds, are documented for almost every prehistoric period in the mountainous areas of Šumava. One of them is the recent find of a bronze spearhead from the Bronze Age at Volary, published in this paper.
