abstract
The paper deals with a grave find excavated in 1964 at Lochenice. The analysis of grave goods shows that the grave is not from the Migration period, as it has been believed, but the grave is from the La Tène period. The questions concernig funerary rite, the context of contemporary settlement patterns and the anthropological analysis of preserved skeletal remains are a part of the forthcoming text in order to provide the complete evaluation of the grave in question.
