Peer Review Process

The anonymous peer review process is organized by the editorial board. After its initial evaluation by the editors, the manuscript is reviewed by two anonymous reviewers, who are experts in the manuscript subject area. At least one of these reviewers must be foreign. Reviewers cannot be members of the same department as the author of the manuscript.

All submissions must be made online. Contributions will only be considered on the understanding that they are not under review for another publication at the same time.

Submissions

All manuscripts are to be sent to the following e-mail address:

eva.stefanova@natur.cuni.cz

Manuscripts should not normally exceed 8,000 words, including references, tables and figures, and must be written in English (American spelling). A short abstract (about 250 words) should immediately precede the introduction. The introduction should clearly indicate the nature of the problem addressed by the article and its position in the context of existing literature.

The authors should be consistent in using geographic (short) country names in their manuscripts, including Czechia, which has been the internationally recognized geographic (short) country name of the Czech Republic since 2016.

Submission Preparation Checklist

– The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.

– Suggest two independent reviewers: First name; Name; E-mail; Reviewing interests.
