Vývoj empirického sociologického výzkumu na území Československa

The book traces the development of systematic sociological research carried out in the territory of present-day Czech Republic and Slovakia, extending to other Central European countries. The authors of the individual chapters present the major stages of research in this field, with an emphasis on developments within sociology, aware that sociological research often developed on the frontier or completely outside the field. Taking into account the broader context of the field’s development, they describe how significant research projects were conducted and how research institutions worked.
