Co na srdci, to na jazyku

This publication explains both the basic theoretical and methodological foundations of cognitive and cultural linguistics as well as the possibilities of their application to the Czech language and Czech studies. The applicability of the cognitive approach to language is tested through various selected views of Czech vocabulary. The authors strive to point out the interconnections of language, culture and everyday life of the national community.
