The seventh volume of Karel Šiktanc's work – Paralipomena will be surprising for many a reader. It presents the Czech poetry doyen not just as a poet (the section of “forgotten” verses), but also as a translator (of Chinese, Latin and Russian texts) and an author, who in his interviews and reflections comments on both his own work and that of others.
