This thematically arranged selection of works by a doyen of Czech language studies documents 60 years of the development of standard Czech and its research. Professor Daneš chose works published in journals, lectures and conference papers (published for the first time), that he considers important for current and future students. The publication also contains selected bibliography of texts published in magazines or as books.
