Kardiovaskulární systém a pohlavní rozdíly

The difference between male and female organism is not only different amount of sex hormones secreted. Gender differences in anatomy, function and pathology of almost all organ systems, including the cardiovascular system were identified. The authors describe the gender differences in morphology and physiology of the heart and vessels, in cardiac autonomic innervation and they mention some gender related attributes of cardiovascular diseases. Rozdíl mezi mužským a ženským organismem nespočívá jen v odlišném množství secernovaných pohlavních hormonů, ale týká se anatomie, funkce a patologie téměř všech orgánových systémů, kardiovaskulární aparát nevyjímaje. Autoři popisují mezipohlavní rozdíly v morfologii, fyziologii a autonomní inervaci srdce a cév a zmiňují některé, na pohlaví vázané, odlišnosti onemocnění kardiovaskulárního systému.
