Biomedicínská statistika IV

This textbook on the basics of statistics in the R software package is intended primarily for students of the Faculty of Natural Sciences at Charles University. It is based on many years of lectures for biologists, students preparing for the teaching profession, and in more recent years for geographers and demographers… It should also be useful for students of the medical faculties and post-graduates in the biomedical fields. The first chapter is dedicated to descriptive statistics, while the second focuses on probabilistic terms. The goal of the third chapter is to present the principals of statistical reasoning. The remaining chapters introduce the most common statistical problems and methods to solve them. The included CD contains the R calculations used in the book organized by chapter, and also contains all data necessary for working with the book in a separate directory.
