The book presents twenty-one interviews with participants in the revolutionary events of November 1989, which they experienced as either students or teachers at Charles University. They give a sense of the authentic atmosphere of the Velvet Revolution from various angles and with different emphases, so the resulting image is most definitely not black and white. It represents a valuable historical documentary about one of the key moments of our history and at the same time engaging and inspiring reading that poses a number of questions for the future.
