The book is conceived as a university textbook of contemporary Spanish syntax and is intended primarily for students of Spanish philology. Interpretation procedures are the result of the authors' long-term effort to apply the results of the work of syntacticians from the mid-20th century to Spanish language materials and taking into regard the work of contemporary Spanish authors to create an apparatus for syntactically interpreting any Spanish statement. This comparison of the Czech and Spanish approaches has led the authors to some new solutions. In addition to the theoretical eplanations, each chapter contains examples of planimetric imaging of syntactic relations, methodological instructions for compiling graphs and an abundance of materials for use as seminar exercises.
