This book presents basic methodological issues related to the quality of teaching physics at all educational levels. Based on the results of research using the ZAKVAF tool, which is based on class observation, Vojtěch Žák factors in both beginning and experienced teachers and even includes the views of students. Among other topics, it covers inadequacies that appear in Czech as well as foreign textbooks and presents suggestions how to handle them in class. The book contains an overview of selected resources supporting high-quality teaching of physics. This publication, first to offer substantial expert reflection in this area, is intended for methodologists and teachers of physics at all levels of the education system.
