Ohniska napětí v postkoloniální Africe

This monograph provides an interdisciplinary perspective of both well-known and also less visible centres of tension primarily in the Horn of Africa, in the Great Lakes region and in western Africa. It is based on the hypothesis that most centres of tension have come to life due to the crisis of state and identity, which has its roots in the colonial past and poor level of government in the post-colonial period. This publication, which fills in a certain vacuum in the Czech book market, is intended for experts as well as for the wider public.
