The textbook Greek and Latin Terminology for the Helping Professions is intended for students of programs for which preparation and practice require a basic understanding of specialist medical terminology. In addition to a review of basic Greek and Latin prefixes and suffixes, selected stems, endings, and other compositional components, the textbook provides selected lexical surveys and grammatical tables - declension of nouns, declension of adjectives, pronunciation, and accent in Latin. The text features chapters on the historical development of Ancient Greek and Latin and the original text from Boris Titzl's publication Postižený člověk ve společnosti [The Handicapped Person in Society].
