summary
This publication, a follow up to Sedm tváří translatologie (Seven facets of translation studies; 2013), aims to present the current trends in Latin American translation studies. It is a selection of papers which were written and published in Spanish and Portuguese (not in English) being authored by leading theoreticians of translation or interpreting. The selected studies reflect the specific nature of Latin American culture and present less known and less available concepts. Each of the translated papers is accompanied by brief information on the authors: Adriana Domínguez Mares (Mexico), Ricardo Silva Santisteban (Peru), Martha Pulido Correa (Columbia), Lourdes Arencibia Rodríguez (Cuba), Daniel Ricardo Yagolkowski (Argentina), Iván Pinto Román (Peru) and Célia Luiza Andrade Prado (Brazil).
