Suverénní fondy

The publication seeks to provide the reader with information about sovereign funds (Sovereign Wealth Funds, SWF) as a growing phenomenon in the global financial market, including their macroeconomic and microeconomic contexts. It analyzes the emergence, development and current and future role of SWF, and also discusses the relevant basic concepts in this field, as the problem area of SWF in Czech literature is essentially not covered at all. The publication is divided into four basic chapters. In the first chapter, we focus on qualitative aspects of SWF, present an overview of literature and explain basic concepts. The second chapter deals with the quantitative aspect of the SWF, analyzing the evolution of these funds in recent years, including their effects on the economy. The third chapter deals with the theoretical question, the potential for the creation of SWF in the Czech Republic. The fourth chapter summarizes the preceding texts and presents the main conclusions and recommendations that the authors have reached.
