This sixth volume concludes the series which whose publication began in 2006 under the title of Contemporary Sociology. This project aims to present essential information about fundamental trends in international contemporary sociology. This last volume contains chapters devoted to individual areas and specializations of sociological research: sociology of family, city, country, social work, medicine, environment, social exclusion, law, criminology, education, media and mass communication, public opinion, free time, sport, work and management, politics, army, war, ethnicity, religion and historical sociology. Individual chapter were written by leading scholars in the various fields of sociological research.
