Historicko-sociologické reflexe

This book, published on the occasion of the sociologist Jiří Šubrt’s 60th birthday, presents the researcher’s work in its multifaceted breadth and specific forms. The book contains articles, memoires, reviews, extensive synoptic papers as well as short texts published at different time periods and in different contexts. This book is formally divided into three sections: the first part contains texts on the history of sociology, the second one presents the scholar as a figure who has, over the past decades taken an active part in organizing scholarly discussions at multiple levels, while the third one includes texts representing historical sociology.
