Antické divadlo

An encyklopedia of classical theatre consisting of three parts. First section contains a list and description of buildings of theatres, including an illustration of their present state. The second and largest section is an alphabetical lexicon covering in detail the world of classical theatre. The conclusion includes a complete list of preserved classical, Greek and Roman, dramas. Individual entries give comprehensive information on the content and structure of the dramas as well as information on Czech translations and adaptations. Accompanied by a large number of colour illustrations.
