Klinická balneologie

Balneology is one of the oldest forms of disease prevention and treatment. In the Czech Republic, it has a very long tradition and even today it is an inseparable part of treatment and prevention. Despite that, we have not had a treatise providing a complex summary of information in this field. Clinical Balneology, elaborated by a large group of experts from around the Czech Republic, strives to fill this gap. It is the very first publication, which presents a comprehensive view of spa treatment to Czech readers. It describes individual groups of diseases and possibilities for spa therapy, but also the history of the Czech balneology and scientific aspects of balneology. The book is intended for doctors of all specializations, medical students as well as anybody interested in the methodology of spa treatment.
