Prehistorie rodu Homo (Prehistory of the Homo family) attempts to answer the timeless question related to the existence of the humankind: "who we are, where we came from and where we are going.” This encyclopaedic scientific monograph focuses on mankind’s predecessors and the phenomenon of culture. It was through culture that mankind managed not only to break away from the natural world, but also to create "a second nature,” which influences the fate of all living creatures on our planet. This book is intended for all readers who are trying to understand the ever-more complicated explanations of anthropogenesis.
