Pathophysiology. Laboratory exercises

The textbook written in English “Pathophysiology – Laboratory Exercises” for foreign students of the Faculty of Medicine in Pilsen includes exercises that are principally used for practical training in pathophysiology. The opening chapter introduces students to basic methods of handling animals and the ethics of experimental work. The second chapter contains a set of tasks aimed at the practice of general pathological physiology; the next chapters focus on blood, circulation, respiration, digestion, metabolism and thermoregulation, excretion, internal secretion, nervous system and microscopic examination of the brain. The publication contains clear illustrations, graphs.
