K německému idealismu

This selection of texts by Milan Sobotka devoted to German idealism is an attempt to provide a synopsis of the life’s work of our greatest expert on German classical philosophy. The most influential philosophers for him were Immanuel Kant and, above all, G. W. F. Hegel. Their thinking is captured here as the subject of disputes that gave rise to the unique tradition of German idealism, distinct from British empiricism on the one hand and Cartesian rationalism on the other.
