summary
From the linguistic and linguodidactic point of view, the phenomenon of (non-)parallelism is very widespread, diverse, and important. Not only is it an apparent manifestation of systemic gaps and the non-existence of correspondences between the structures of various language codes, but it also shows non-parallelism within the category of Czech aspect resulting in aspectual homonymy and polysemy. The study aims to create a methodological background and prerequisites that would allow to describe the Czech language in a way that caters to the needs of its foreign learners and helps efficiently overcome non-parallelism, especially on the lexical (semantic) and lexico-grammatical level.
