summary
This monograph, compiled by a group of scholars, presents the principles and success rates of the public management of social processes from different perspectives. Although at first sight social processes appear different, the principles of their management are a convergent point. The principles are general to such an extent that they can be used in the preparation and implementation of new social processes.
The team of scholars consisting of faculty and post-graduate students of the Department of Social Work, Faculty of Arts, Charles University, examined the influence of public administration on the course of selected social processes, whether these social processes are really managed by or merely influenced by it, and if it influences them, they look into the means used and the success rate.
