Fakta a trendy v současné české společnosti

The book aims to use the available data to show the changing living conditions in Czech society, starting approximately at the beginning of the millennium. In addition to the development over time, the book presents comparative data analysed in the international context, as well as maps showing the diversity of numerous phenomena within the Czech Republic. It also presents selected results of the 2021 Population and Housing Census.

The work is intended for all those who are interested in social changes and the degree to which we are aware of them, as well as those who resist the influence of disinformation and try to be critical of the available data and the ways in which they are presented. The publication can be useful for high school classes in social studies, introductory courses in social sciences at universities, etc.
