This monograph is devoted to selected aspects of teaching Russian as a foreign language in the Czech linguistic and educational context. The book covers topics that in different ways contribute to the process of learning Russian – motivation, engagement methods in the instruction of Russian, the use of ICT, an interdisciplinary approach to teaching Russian, the development of intercultural communication competence, working with students with special educational needs in the context of teaching Russian, and student assessment.
