Měnová politika a její interakce s politikou fiskální

This work represents a truly unique publication in the Czech environment. The uniqueness of this work lies primarily in the fact that it is the very first in-depth analysis of the interaction of monetary and fiscal policy in Czech economic literature, from the theoretical as well as empirical point of view. The work was inspired mainly by the scholar's experience and research abroad but also by his practical experience in the field of interaction of monetary and fiscal authority. In the Czech context and in connection with the most recent global financial and economic crisis, this publication fills a gap in the area of research into the interaction of the monetary and fiscal authority on the basis of game theory. The constructed theoretical framework, including its empirical application on the data from the Czech Republic, represents a major tool for analyzing practical implementation of the monetary and fiscal policy and ensuing economic and political implications for both economic and political institutions. This work also presents and overview of the methods used to estimate a potential product and description of their application in the Czech National Bank and at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic.
