This extensive work by leading Czech Church historians contains the complete collection of the provincial and synodal statutes of the Prague diasis and other documents from talks at the synodal assemblages which took place in the 14th and beginning of the 15th centuries. Along with the medieval texts of the statute, the edition contains a representative introduction into the available historical sources, a description of individual synods, a list of specialized literature, a detailed index of literature and an index of important people. This is clearly an important source of information not only on the history of the Church in Central Europe, but also on the history of medieval everyday life.
