Years and Seconds represents an overview of Jiří Ployhar’s photographic work. Ployhar (1927–2009) was a leading Czech documentarian, cameraman, director and photographer. The book is divided into twelve thematic units, completed with biographical information, an overview of Ployhar’s films and the books he coauthored. The introductory text was written by Milan Fara.
