Gollův styl

This book focuses on style of prominent Czech historian Jaroslav Goll (1846–1929). Methodologically, it uses the concept of style analysis as one of the possible paths to understanding Goll’s historical thinking. Goll’s style, viewed as an external projection or as a reflection of depths of the historian’s historical thinking, led the scholar to detailed reflections over the true nature of Goll’s thinking about history and historiography, which often clashes with the stereotypical idea of Goll’s rigid historiographical "positivism.”
