Basic concepts are often used as a matter of course, however without knowledge of their philosophical basis. The beginning of the book delimits the following terms: upbringing, instruction teacher, educational theory, student, theory of learning, education. The most important of these, upbringing, education, teacher, student and illustrative nature, are then thoroughly investigated. As pedagogy declares that educational activities should not be superficial, the final reflection returns to the human core.
