Česká morfologie a korpusy

Czech Morphology and Corpora strives to encourage students of philological disciplines, Czech studies experts, corpus linguistics and anyone interested in Czech and its grammar to not be afraid to make use of the methods of corpus linguistics and to look for ways to solve linguistic problems using language corpora. It is the result of many years of experience teaching and research by doc. PhDr. Kláry Osolsobě, Ph.D., a leading expert in computer linguistics. It will teach readers how to combine a corpus based access, which allows users to search for evidence of linguistic hypothesis, and a corpus driven access, which optimizes formalized questions based on observation of corpus data. Example tasks in the area of formal morphology and word-formation lead to new and alternative views of the Czech language. They can be applied to find answers to similar questions when processing large amounts of data as well as when studying other languages.
