This publication deals with the relationship between the choice of methodology, methods and the goals of the research and the resulting statement in general terms of scientific research. On a theoretical basis, it presents individual types of methods and ways in which they may be applied, and analyzes their advantages and limitations. The book provides a more detailed explanation and narration in terms of time, process and functional aspects. The conclusion of the book is devoted to the problem of evaluation of scientific research activities and its impact on the financing of sciences.
