This textbook presents a comprehensive overview of biological and physiological mechanisms causing and accompanying diseases and pathological states of the human organism. These include mechanisms which represent a general foundation for diverse diseases. This book is intended to aid medical students in preparing for the study of clinical disciplines. In addition to consolidating and expanding knowledge, it also helps form an approach to understanding pathological states and use this approach in diagnostics and treatment of diseases.
