Palimpsesty, heterotopie a krajiny

This book addresses the phenomenon of history in contemporary British fiction. It focuses on the shift towards history as a decisive moment in literature in the second half of the 20th century and on the rehabilitation of historical fiction, which occurred over the past several decades. The scholar intentionally avoids the genre of the historical novel, but instead emphasizes the connection with themes and issues discussed in theoretical literature and their reflection in fiction.
