How should we work with mixed groups? This is a question Dana Moree asks along with almost fifty participants of mixed Roma and non-Roma groups. She interviews elites on both sides, covers schools near socially excluded localities and maps out the origin of the mixed group in Ústí nad Labem, in which (non-)actors worked together using the method of the theater of the oppressed. The scholar uses the term “interspaces” for imaginary or real places, in which people from mixed group get together, and formulates principles which bring people in these groups together, but also help them to find a path to one another more easily.
