The monograph Two Books on Interpretation (of Art) discusses the issues of interpretation, that is, processes that play a significant role in shaping our everyday lives without us even noticing. Furthermore, interpretation is one of the central issues in the philosophy of art, aesthetics, and the entire field of art sciences. In the first book, the author reflects on a broader definition of interpretation, one that can better explain the forms of interpretation we encounter in the world of art. The second book examines the role of art theories and interpretive frameworks, i.e., what constitutes the prerequisites and limits of interpretation.
