Kyberkultura

Pierre Lévy, a French philosopher, focuses on the social and cultural aspects of cyberspace, rather than on its technical character. From a philosophical point of view he treats a range of urgent problems and challenges that present themselves to humanity as a result of recent revolutionary developments in the area of IT and telecommunications. Employing the example of various "user-friendly" systems he illustrates the unavoidable penetration of everyday life by informatics. At the same time he promotes these technologies and – with informed enthusiasm – declares them to offer humanity a promising new dimension.
